Fire Retardant Cork

Fire retardant cork can be supplied in various sizes and thicknesses, in either rolls or sheets and have a high density. Cork rolls and sheets are bonded together with a fire retardant binder along with cork granules that range between 1mm to 2mm in size. These sheets and rolls have many usages from cork coasters to large scale cork pinboard walls.

 When creating pinboards we recommend using at least 8mm ++ for thickness as the average size pin length is around 8-10mm, the thicker the cork the better as the pins will not hit the surface behind the cork.

Fire retardant cork has a class B fire rating with a 95 flame spread index (FDI), you can find the data sheets either in the product listing or in our data sheet collection in the top header on our website.
